This week in Parliament I spoke on the Land Transfer Bill and the Patents (Trans-Tasman Patent Attorneys and Other Matters) Amendment Bill.

The Land Transfer Bill modernises language in existing legislation and responds to recommendations from the 2010 Law Commission Report on a new land transfer Act.

The Patents (Trans-Tasman Patent Attorneys and Other matters) Amendment Bill will implement a single trans-tasman registration for patent attorneys in New Zealand and Australia, helping to support innovative New Zealand businesses and inventors.
