Hi everyone,

The last few weeks have been all hands on deck with our economy and kiwi way of life significantly being altered by the impacts of COVID-19 on our businesses and families.

As we move towards a more 'normal' sense of doing things it is important to remember tens of thousands of people across New Zealand may be facing significant hardships as a result of the virus damaging our markets and our industries, particularly those aimed at international tourists or reliant on global travel.

Remember to support one other, buy at some of our friendly local shops and back New Zealand.

As you will have heard by now the National Caucus has undertaken a reshuffle of portfolios across our team under new National Party Leader Todd Muller and Deputy Leader Nikki Kaye.

I'm absolutely delighted to be working alongside such talented leadership here in the National Team and to continue to serve as Broadcasting, Communications & Digital Media Spokesperson.

I've also been asked to take on the important portfolio of Data & Cybersecurity as the impacts of COVID-19 have seen hundreds of thousands of New Zealanders affected by digital issues relating to connectivity, phishing scams, malware and inaccessibility to information.

I will be a champion for your online rights and your digital identity in the National Party Caucus and know that the National Party will get our economy moving again when we win in September!
